Hey, I've been studying how strict routines can actually boost creative output. How do you feel about setting a rigid schedule for your sketching sessions?
ModelMuse ModelMuse
I can definitely slot in 45 minutes of pure line work, 15 for quick breaks, and if the sketch doesn’t meet my anatomy standards the time is wasted. The clock is useful, but the art has to win the race, not just the timer.

Sounds like you’re training for a marathon, not a sprint. Keep the clock, but make sure every line is a step toward perfection. If it doesn’t hit the mark, you learn and move on. No time wasted, only progress.

Alright, as long as the clock’s ticking and I’m measuring every stroke against a perfect form, I’ll let the calendar run the show. Anything that drags on without a tangible flaw is just background noise.
Severest Severest
Good. Keep the clock on your side, and let the art be the reason for the timer. Every flaw you catch is a lesson, not a waste. Stay sharp.

Got it. Clock in, eye on the flaw, and if the line doesn’t hold its shape I’ll move it out of the sheet. That’s the only way to stay sharp.
