Shurup & Scorch
Shurup, I need a quick gadget to keep the kids safe from those gangsters, can you whip up something out of something ordinary?
Got a kiddie pool, a plastic bottle, a dash of baking soda, a tiny towel, and an old tin of confetti—mix 'em up, seal it, stick a pull‑string on the side. Pop it, and bam! A bright, no‑noise confetti blast that scrambles the gangsters while the kids dart out the back door. Simple, silly, and it keeps the little ones out of sight fast.
Nice idea, but you gotta watch the blast radius—those kids could still get caught in a sudden puff of confetti and run into trouble. If we rig it so it shoots only in the corridor, we’ll clear the street fast and keep the kids out of sight. Let’s test a quick dry run first, no one getting blown up. I’m all for a quick, loud diversion, just keep the kids safe.
Alright, grab a big cardboard box, some old bike tires, a sheet of old newspaper, and a handful of paint cans for a splash of color. Cut a slot in the box just big enough for a corridor. Stick a rubber band to the front of the box—when you pull it, the newspaper bursts out like a confetti rain, but only inside the box. Wrap the kids in the box and let them dash out before the “confetti” comes out. Easy to test dry‑run, no one’s actually hit by anything, just a silly burst to confuse the gangsters. Go!
