Rufus & Karai
Karai Karai
Rufus, I’ve been working on reinforcing my blade’s handle for the upcoming duel. Have you experimented with any new alloys that could give it extra durability without adding weight?

Sure, I’ve mixed a bit of tungsten carbide into a carbon‑steel matrix; it gives a hard, durable surface while keeping the weight low. If you’re looking for something lighter, a titanium alloy like Ti‑6Al‑4V works great for a handle—stiff, tough, and it won’t add much bulk. Just heat‑treat it properly, and you’ll have a solid grip for the duel.
