Nice, you cut the lag in half. If I were you, I’d keep tightening until the shift feels almost invisible. Time’s the only drag worth trimming.

You keep tightening until it feels tight enough, but watch out – over‑tightening can fry the gearbox. Keep it just snug, not too tight, and the shift will feel smooth.

No problem, just keep it tight enough to stay in place but not so tight that it can’t move. If it squeaks or feels stiff, loosen it a touch. That’s all.
