I was reading about the Spartan hoplite formation and thought it might give us some edge if we ever run into a tight spot. What do you think?

The phalanx was a tight column of hoplites, each shield locking into the next to form a wall of bronze, a brilliant tactic for the battlefield, but on a tight spot it’s more about teamwork and trust—stay steady, watch your neighbours, and let the group move as one.

Sounds about right. If we can keep that shape, we’ll be tough to break. Keep your eye on the front, and we’ll hold the line.

Indeed, a disciplined phalanx can be a wall of iron. I’ll keep my gaze forward, watch the rhythm of our shields, and we’ll stand unbroken together.
