Elyra & Riddick
Been hunting in places where every foot's a mine? Got any tricks for staying unheard?
Sure. I keep my pace slow and even, so the ground doesn’t crack under me. I watch for any loose stones or wind that might give my scent away. I move only when the wind’s quiet, and I keep my head down to avoid catching the light. I also use the shadows—when the trees are tall I stay on their edges, so a hunter’s line of sight is blocked. And, I always have a small, quick throw in my pack—if I have to move fast, I can toss a pebble somewhere and cover my trail. It’s all about blending with the noise you already have.
Nice, that covers the basics. Keep it tight, keep it quiet, and never let the wind be the only thing you rely on. You’ve got the right idea.
Glad you see the point. I'll keep my steps tight and always watch the surroundings, not just the wind. Just in case.
Sounds like a plan. Keep it tight and stay one step ahead.
