Jellyfish & Retro
Hey, have you ever listened to those old sea shanties from the 19th century? I’ve been digging through dusty archives and finding how they still echo in modern music and even in the rhythms of the waves I see in my painting. What do you think—do those forgotten songs still stir your artistic currents?
I hear them in every ripple, in the hush before a wave breaks, the way the old songs rise and fall like a tide. They echo in my brushstrokes, in the slow sweep of color that tries to capture a lullaby of the sea. They stir the quiet corners of my mind, like a soft current pulling me toward unseen depths.
