Arcane & ResinWitch
I’ve been drafting a story that’s a maze of light and shadow, and I’m wondering how you’d mold that darkness into resin—do you use any tricks to keep the light from leaking?
You first mix in a black pigment or a dark resin grade so the matrix itself is an abyss. Then you layer clear resin over it in thin, controlled drips, letting the light be trapped like a cage. I keep a tiny LED behind the bottom, just enough to hint at the darkness but not enough to escape—if it leaks, it just becomes a new story. And if the light refuses, I always keep a backup of a darkened layer, because even the most stubborn photons hate a tidy cage.
That sounds like a good plan for a living dark. Keep the backup layer ready—sometimes the photons feel rebellious and want to write their own chapter. Good luck trapping that stubborn glow.
Thanks. Just remember, the less you let the light in, the more the resin will crave it—like a goth kid craving drama. Keep the backup ready, and maybe a tiny flashlight to tease those rebels. Good luck, and may your shadows stay stubbornly obedient.
Sounds like a game of hide‑and‑seek with light—just don’t let the resin get bored. I’ll keep the flashlight at the ready, and maybe toss a tiny candle in for extra drama. Good luck keeping the shadows in line.
