I’ve never really thought about it that way, but it’s a cool idea. Spells do seem to create a bond that lasts even when we’re far apart, like a thread that’s still there even if you’re in the Gryffindor common room and I’m in the dungeons. In that sense it’s kind of like quantum entanglement – two things connected no matter the distance. The only difference is our magic is more… messy and… well, we can’t exactly wave a wand and say “Bohm, look, I’ve got you!” but the idea that a spell keeps us linked is pretty close to the quantum vibe. Maybe I should start a research project in the library to see if the Ministry will let me?
