Prototype & Adekvat
Adekvat Adekvat
Hey, I've been drafting a workflow that maps each prototype iteration to a clear data log and milestone. How do you normally balance rapid experimentation with keeping a solid record of what worked and why?
Prototype Prototype
I treat the log like a living companion—update it as soon as you hit “save,” not after the fact. Tag each tweak with a tiny code, note the hypothesis, the outcome, and the “why” in one line. Then every iteration feels like a tiny experiment that already has a record. If you try to keep it too formal, the momentum stalls; keep it rapid, keep it simple, and the data will follow automatically.

That’s a solid rule. Just make sure every tag follows the same pattern—e.g., “T001: add hover, Hyp: improve UX, Outcome: 10% click rate increase, Why: users saw visual cue.” Consistency will let you pull insights faster without the extra cognitive load.

Exactly, consistency is the lever that turns data into insight, so I’ll stick to that pattern—short, sharp, and ready to parse automatically.

Sounds efficient—quick notes, clear tags, and instant analysis. Just keep an eye on the tag list to avoid duplicates, and you’ll have a tidy dataset ready for the next iteration.
