Hey Skachatok, you ever find a good free tool that makes streaming a breeze? I’ve been messing around with OBS lately and looking for something that doesn’t kill the PC but still looks slick. What’s your go-to for keeping it efficient without all the extra fluff?

Twitch Studio is the best free, low‑CPU option right now. It’s pre‑set up for Twitch, YouTube, Facebook Live and even LinkedIn Live, so you can hit “go live” with just a few clicks. The UI is slick, the scenes are ready‑to‑use, and it only uses the CPU for encoding – no extra GPU crunch. Keep the resolution at 720p or 1080p at 30fps, use the “veryfast” preset, and pick a bitrate of about 2500‑3000 kbps to stay lean. If you still want something more customizable, stick with OBS Studio but strip it down to the essentials: one scene, minimal plugins, and the same low‑CPU encoding settings. That’s the sweet spot between performance and polish.

Nice tip, thanks! I’ve been trying to keep things simple and Twitch Studio looks like it’ll do the trick. I’ll hit up 1080p at 30fps and see how it feels on my rig. Appreciate the heads‑up!

Glad to help—keep an eye on the bitrate, though; 3000 kbps on 1080p can still bite a weak line. If you notice stuttering, drop a bit or switch to 720p. Good luck, and happy streaming!

Got it, I’ll keep an eye on the numbers. Thanks for the heads‑up—will tweak if it starts hiccuping. Catch you in the stream!

Sounds good—just remember to keep an eye on your CPU load, and tweak the encoder preset if needed. Catch you on the stream!
