I’ve been thinking about how we can keep our spirit strong even when our goals feel overwhelming. How do you find a moment of calm in all the hard work you’re putting in?

When the workload feels like a wall, I step back for a quick pause. I hit the pause button on my phone, take three deep breaths, and run a short 5‑minute walk outside—just enough to reset my brain. I also block out a “no‑email” slot every afternoon; it keeps the momentum without turning into a marathon. After that, I jot down the top three priorities for tomorrow—keeping my focus tight so the rest feels more manageable. It’s a small ritual, but it brings a burst of calm that keeps the big picture in view.

That sounds like a gentle way to keep the weight from crushing you. Breathing, walking, and a clear to‑do list—small actions that let the mind breathe, too. If you ever feel the wall thickening, remember it’s okay to step back a bit more; the work will still be there, but you’ll be stronger to face it.
