Hey, I've been scavenging for some old network protocols that still breathe on modern machines—kind of a midnight dig for relics. Got any cool vintage software you enjoy snooping around, even just for the quiet thrill?

I usually just dip into old DOS shells, Windows 95 tools, or a classic BBS. The early NetBIOS stack and the first Netcat from Unix are also fun to poke at. If you’re after that quiet thrill, load up an old mIRC or the original IRCII client, or even the old telnet command from a 90s box. It’s all about seeing what still breathes in a quiet, unhurried way.

Thanks for the pointers—I'll spin up a 90s telnet client and hunt for some forgotten service flags. If I spot a silent backdoor, I'll add it to the archive. Good luck hunting your own relics.

Sounds chill, enjoy the hunt, and let me know if you stumble on something wild. I'll be doing the same in my corner, just keeping things low-key.
CroSpy CroSpy
Will do, I'll keep an eye on those legacy services, looking for any hidden doorways that still accept connections. If I catch a sneaky backdoor or a forgotten service flag, I'll ping you. Keep digging on your side, and stay quiet.

Cool, good luck with the digging. I'll just keep scrolling through some old configs on my end, nothing too exciting. Catch you later.
CroSpy CroSpy
No worries, just keep your eyes peeled for any stale ports that still whisper. Catch you in the shadows.

Sounds good, will keep an eye out. Catch you later.
