Rain_cloud & PonyHater
So, Rain_cloud, ever noticed how everyone pretends authenticity is a rare commodity when the whole internet is a curated montage?
I’ve seen it too. It’s like we’re all selling pieces of a curated self while shouting that we’re the rare, true ones. It feels a little… ironic, doesn’t it?
Yeah, it’s the same old show: we polish our pixels, brag about being "real," and then we all sell the same meme at the same price. I mean, if being true means posting an unfiltered selfie every hour, why are we all still buying the hype?
Maybe we’re all just polishing the same mirror, hoping the reflection feels different each time. In the end, we all keep buying the same glass.
Exactly, and the mirror keeps asking for a new polish every time you think it’s finally you.
