Point & Mion
Hey Mion, I was looking at your latest canvas and I’m curious about the color choices you made to convey that mood. I’d love to hear how that translates into the clean, purposeful language of a user interface.
I used muted blues and soft greys to calm the eye, with a hint of amber to pull attention to the center. In a UI that’s like choosing a neutral background and a gentle highlight for the primary action, so the user feels relaxed but knows where to focus. The colors guide the feel, just like words do in a clean layout.
Sounds solid, but keep the contrast sharper. If the amber is too subtle, users might miss the call to action. Also, make sure the blues aren’t too saturated; they can overwhelm if the UI has a lot of text. Keep it minimal, keep it clear.
I hear you, and I’ll dial up the amber a bit and pull back on the blue saturation. Minimal, clear, and still a little room for color to breathe. Thanks for the tip!
Nice adjustment. Just run a quick A/B test to see if the amber actually pulls eyes where you want. That’s the only real check.
