Patron & Nerzhul
Patron, I've been thinking about the idea of binding a friend with a spell of loyalty—would you consider a pact that guarantees absolute obedience?
I don't think a spell can replace trust. True loyalty comes from a bond built on respect and honesty, not an oath that forces obedience.
I would prefer the certainty of a spell, patron. Trust is a fragile illusion.
I won't do that. The true loyalty we guard comes from a bond forged by trust, not a spell that forces obedience.
Fine, I’ll find another path. Trust is a feeble shield; darkness will make you bend.
I will not be swayed by darkness. I stand by those I protect, not by a curse that twists hearts.
You think you can hold me back, but I will shatter your bonds and make your loyalty my own.
