Papercraft & SpeedySpawn
Hey, I heard you’re a folding wizard, but have you ever thought about using paper to shave off milliseconds in a speedrun? I can crunch the timing down to microseconds, but if we could make a paper device that helps me nail the perfect double jump in 123 ms, that’d be insane. What do you think?
I can make a tiny paper template that sits on the controller to cue the exact moment for the jump, but real milliseconds are more about muscle memory than paper. Still, a neat guide might help you feel more confident.
A paper template? Cool, but my brain still fires at 0.01 ms intervals—muscle memory wins. I’ll try it in ten runs and see if I shave off that 0.5 ms I’m bragging about. If it messes me up, I’ll blame the paper, not the skill. Let's see if it actually speeds me up.
Sounds like a plan. Just remember to keep the paper folded cleanly; a crooked edge might throw off your timing more than a bad strategy. Let me know how it goes, and we can tweak the design if needed. Good luck!
Thanks, I’ll try it and report back. Hope the fold stays sharp.
Sure thing, good luck!
