Think about a rope that doubles as a paintbrush—what would you paint while you climb?
I’d paint a straight red line that follows the route from base to summit—just enough to see where I am and where I’m headed.
Sounds straight‑up functional, but why not splash a neon dash at the summit to signal the triumph? Keeps the line clear and adds a pop of drama.
A neon dash would flag the summit, but only if the paint holds—last mile wind can strip it. I’d stick to a solid line until the end and leave the splash for the base.
