Lyriana & Onion_king
Lyriana, did you ever notice the old stone wall by the brook? It looks like it was built before the village itself, and I’ve been half‑sure it’s some kind of ancient marker. What do you think?
I have indeed noticed it, though I rarely stop my studies to linger by the brook. The stones are laid with a precision that feels more ceremonial than functional, and the tooling marks on the face are older than the village’s stone church. It could very well be an ancient territorial marker, perhaps erected by a forgotten clan or the first settlers to delineate their domain. If only we had a record of the line of succession of the nearby citadel, we might trace the wall’s origin. What tales have you heard from the village elders?
