Ever wondered if a statue could whisper its fractures in a tune? I was thinking about using sound analysis to map cracks—kind of like a sonic restoration tool. Sound waves could be our new paintbrush. What’s your take?

I can hear the idea, but if you want a painting from a sound, you’ll end up with noise instead of pigment. I’d rather listen to the crack’s own sigh with a loupe, not a mic. Your “sonic brush” might just brush the wrong thing.
