Picture this: a tiny hamster, Sir Squeak-a-Lot, decides to run the town’s marathon. He’s wearing a neon cape, the whole crowd’s cheering, and halfway through he spots a giant pizza delivery truck, thinks it’s a giant hamster ball, and goes straight for it. The whole race ends with him riding that pizza truck down the street, the crowd chanting “Go, Sir Squeak! Go!” It’s ridiculous, it’s sweet, and you can’t help but grin when you see the photo of that little dude with the pizza on his back. Every time I see that picture, the day gets a little brighter.

Oh, I swear the first sunrise after a storm always cracks me up—those rays flicker like a giant LED light show in the sky. Every time I see that bright orange splash against the dark clouds, it’s like the world’s saying, “Hey, we’ve survived, let’s dance!” and suddenly my whole day’s on a better beat.
