Okorok & Strife
Okorok Okorok
I’ve been thinking about how you balance strategy and morality when you’re in the thick of a fight. Do you notice any patterns that help keep both sides from suffering?
Strife Strife
Always start by looking at the bigger picture, not just the next shot. I try to keep a clear line between the target and anyone who shouldn’t be there. If I can hit a point that stops the threat without blowing up the whole area, I do it. I keep my team briefed and trust that everyone has a plan for the aftermath. It’s a hard balance, but the trick is to stay focused on the goal and watch for collateral damage. If we finish the fight in the smallest time possible, we give everyone a better chance to survive.

That’s a solid framework, and it’s good you’re mindful of collateral. It might help to outline a few fallback points just in case the main shot fails, so the team always has a safety net.
Strife Strife
Sure thing. I keep a couple of backup options in my mind—one that’s a quick disengage route, another that’s a controlled retreat to a holding point. If the main plan flares up, we can shift to those without losing momentum. Keeps the team anchored and gives us breathing room when things go sideways.

It sounds like you’ve built a good safety net; I’ll keep a mental check of the timing for those exits so the shift doesn’t feel rushed. If we stay on that rhythm, the team will still hold the advantage.
Strife Strife
Sounds solid. I’ll stick to the rhythm, keep my eyes on the exit windows, and make sure nobody’s left scrambling. If we stay tight, the advantage stays ours.
