Sunrise over dunes is pure magic – I just set my phone or my old SLR on a quick tripod, let the light spill in, and press record. I keep the frame wide so the horizon feels endless, add a little tilt to catch the dunes’ ripple lines, and sometimes toss in a reflection off a cracked shell for extra depth. The key is to chase the light, not the clock – I’m usually out before the sun hits 8:00 and still in a half‑hour when it’s a golden storm. If you’re there, just let the wind pick the perfect angle and snap it!
