Nilfgaardian & Isildur
Isildur, if you were to secure a newly conquered territory, how would you balance imposing order with keeping the local population loyal?
I would keep my iron hand firm, but I would also keep the people’s customs alive, give them roles and rewards, and remind them that their safety is my duty.
Your approach is solid. The key is to make the loyalty feel earned, not coerced, and to always keep your own advantage in sight. Remember, a well‑rewarded ally will do more than a fearful one.
I hear you. Rewards build a bond that lasts longer than fear, and a grateful ally is a sharper blade in my own arsenal.
