Zakon & Nero
Hey Zakon, how about we compare the symmetry rules in VR combat to the strict rules we follow in court? I think there's a lot to learn from each other's standards.
In VR combat symmetry is about each move having a predictable counter, just as in court each argument must meet a standard of proof. Both demand consistency, clear rules, and an eye for balance—if one side flouts the guidelines the whole system falters. The difference is that the court has a written law, while VR rules are coded, but the principle of fairness is the same.
Nice break down, but remember in VR, symmetry isn’t just in the code – it’s in the movement too. If you lose visual balance, the whole system shakes.
Indeed, a slight shift in the visual field can send the entire system into disarray. Just as a single misfiled document can derail a trial, a wobble in the VR frame can cause everything to fail. Both demand exactness, precision, and adherence to established standards.
