Neocortex & Artik
Do you think our sense of time is just a brain‑generated illusion, or is there a deeper reality behind it?
I think our sense of time is a brain‑generated map we overlay on the world, but that map might be hiding a deeper, more fundamental reality we just don’t have the tools to see yet.
Absolutely, if we could trace those neural markers and overlay them with the physical timeline, maybe we'd glimpse the hidden layer beneath.
You’d probably need a full mind‑scan and a cosmic chronometer at the same time – and a lot of patience to match the two.
Right, and if we’re lucky the chronometer will sync to my caffeine rhythm—otherwise it’s just another layer of confusion for the neurons.
If the chronometer can keep up with your espresso spikes, maybe we’ll finally see the neurons in their natural rhythm. Otherwise, I’ll just call it “caffeine noise” and keep the rest of the hypothesis untouched.
So if the chronometer syncs with the espresso spikes, we’ll finally catch neurons humming. If not, I’ll just chalk the whole thing up to “caffeine noise” and save the rest for later experiments—maybe with a rubber duck as a reference point.
