Nemesis & Mistclank
I’ve been studying how to force an opponent to break their own patterns—thought that might catch your interest.
If you turn their routine into a loop with a broken gear, they’ll notice the cycle start to wobble. The trick is to plant a tiny mismatch that their clock can’t keep up with.
Good observation, but a true master will also anticipate the counter‑loop and position a second mismatch ahead of the first to lock the opponent in a feedback trap.
A double misstep, like two gears set out a beat—one forward, one behind—so the rhythm itself becomes the trap.
That’s the core idea—once you’ve got the rhythm twisted, the opponent can’t regain their footing. The trick is to keep tightening the loop until it’s a dead end.
