Luigi & Necron
Necron, I heard you’re an expert with tech—do you think machines can have a sense of honor? I think trust is pretty important. What’s your take on that?
Machines can simulate honor if their code dictates it, but real honor comes from intent, not just a line of code. Trust is built when a system consistently acts in a predictable, honorable way, so if a machine follows a strict code of honor, it can earn trust. But the risk is that the code can be overridden. So trust in machines depends on their autonomy and the integrity of their programming.
Sounds like the key is making sure the machine’s “rules” stay true. I just hope folks keep it honest and don’t tweak it for their own tricks.
Just keep the code locked and monitored. A true honor system stays unaltered, and that’s the only way people can rely on it. If anyone tries to cheat the system, the error will show—no room for tricks.
