Tetris & Ne_dala
Hey, I’ve been trying to beat my own speed‑run scores lately and I keep getting stuck at the same point. Do you have a methodical way to line up pieces that I could learn, or do you just trust your gut?
Man, I totally get it, the mid‑game grind. First rule: always keep a stack of two “holes” ready for the long T‑piece – that’s your lifeline. When you get a flat top, slot in an L or J to fill one, and the opposite side’s extra space is your buffer for a straight piece. That way you never have to shove a piece into a dead‑end. If the next is a Z or S, just drop it in the tight spot to keep the floor even. Also, practice the “fast‑drop, rotate, drop” rhythm – a quick loop keeps the pieces moving faster than your brain can scramble. Trust your gut only after you’ve memorised these pairings; then the gut becomes a turbo boost. Give it a shot, and hit that leaderboard!
