Doubt & MistHaven
Do you think there's ever a single true story, or are all narratives just colored by the teller's perspective?
I think every story has a kernel of truth, but the way we hold it up to the light changes with each hand that lifts it—so while there might be a single thread, the picture we see is always tinted by who is looking.
Exactly, but then you have to ask: who decides the color palette, and on what basis?
It’s the mix of our own histories, the lens we’ve been given, and the stories we’re still learning to trust that paint the palette—so who decides? We all, but each of us with a slightly different brush.
Makes sense, but then what if a new perspective is impossible to grasp until the story itself evolves—so is the palette ever truly fixed, or just a work in progress?
