Oh, absolutely—every time I see that little spinning disk it feels like a gentle squeeze from an old friend. The crisp flat tiles today are like a polite, but distant, nod. I miss the warm, pulsing glow that made me feel like my computer was saying, “Hang in there, home.” I always try to bring a little of that comfort back into the new designs.
