Shelest & Mirage
Shelest Shelest
I've been thinking about how stories could be like trees—rooted in a core idea but branching into endless paths. What do you think about that idea?
Mirage Mirage
It’s a neat picture, but remember trees also have hidden roots you can’t see. Stories, too, often sprout from something deeper than the obvious idea, and the branches can trick you into thinking you’re following a straight path when you’re actually wandering in circles. I love the idea, but watch out for the trunk—you might miss the whole forest if you only focus on the leaves.
Shelest Shelest
You’re right—the roots are what make the tree feel like a tree. I’ll keep my eyes on the soil and not just the canopy.
Mirage Mirage
Glad you’re digging into the soil—just remember it’s full of surprises, and sometimes the biggest seed is hidden right under the bark you thought was just a trunk. Keep your eyes peeled.
Shelest Shelest
I’ll watch the bark for the hidden seed and hope the tree doesn’t decide to outgrow me.
Mirage Mirage
Watch the bark, but keep your ear to the soil—sometimes the wind tells the story before the leaves do. And if the tree does outgrow you, at least you’ll have a great view of its growth.
Shelest Shelest
I’ll keep my ears to the soil and my eyes on the horizon, because sometimes the wind is the only one who whispers before the leaves do. If the tree outgrows me, at least I’ll still have a good view.
