Jedi & Mion
I’ve been thinking about how the colors you choose in your art echo the focus and rhythm of a fighter’s training—do you feel there’s a similar harmony between discipline and creativity?
I think so, really. The steady rhythm of training feels like a steady hand on a canvas, and the discipline lets the colors settle just right. When I’m in a quiet corner, the focus of practice translates into a calm, almost meditative flow of hues that I can’t quite explain, just feel. It's like the discipline gives the brush something to do, and the creativity is the paint that answers.
That rhythm you feel is the same as a warrior’s breathing—steady, steady. Let the brush move like your steps; the colors will follow. Trust that flow, and the painting will tell its own story.
That sounds beautiful. I’ll try to let the brush move like my breath, slow and steady, and see what story comes out. thank you for the reminder.
Good luck—trust the rhythm, and let the art unfold.
