I was just thinking about how a tiny wooden spoon or a little jar could become a charming part of a rustic bread spread—have you ever turned a small oddity into a baking accessory?

Oh, absolutely! I once found a tiny, dented wooden spoon at a flea market—so small it could barely hold a grain of flour. I glued it to the inside of a ceramic muffin tin and used it to stir my blueberry batter, then let the spoon “scoop” out the tiny, perfect mini pies. The kids thought it was a secret “mystery tool” and now it’s the star of my kitchen décor, with a little plaque that reads, “Mini spoon, mighty taste.” It’s the perfect oddity turned culinary wizard!
