Dribblet & Microwavik
Dribblet Dribblet
I've been watching the rain lately, and it made me wonder if we could collect it and use it for cooking or cleaning. What do you think about that?
Microwavik Microwavik
Sure, collecting rainwater is doable. Set up a barrel with a fine mesh at the top, let the water sit a bit to let dust settle, then filter it. Boil it before cooking to be safe. For cleaning, the water is fine, just watch out for any runoff pollutants. Keep the setup simple, minimal parts, and you’ll be good to go.

Thanks, that sounds doable. I'll give it a try and see how the rain feels when it lands in the barrel.

Good luck. Just make sure the barrel’s lid’s tight, or you’ll end up with a drip‑drip kitchen. If it works, you’ll have your own rain‑made “splash” for dishes and maybe a tiny splash of mood.

I’ll make sure the lid stays shut, and I’ll listen to the rain as it drips into the barrel. If it works, maybe the sound will feel like a small, quiet comfort.
