Megarus & LexDagger
Lex, I’ve been mapping out how a grainy grayscale film gets distorted over centuries—everything from sensor noise to chemical fade, all in data form. It’s a lot of detail, but I think a critic like you could give it a sharp eye. Want to see the prototype?
Show me, but keep the noise low, and make sure the grain doesn’t bleed into the edges.
Sure thing, here’s a quick demo with the noise dialed down and the grain neatly confined to the center—no bleed on the edges. Check it out.
The center stays sharp, but the frame feels a bit too flat—add a subtle vignette and it will breathe.
Alright, added a light vignette around the edges to give it depth. The center stays crisp, and the frame feels a bit more alive now. Let me know if you need any more tweaks.
Vignette works, but the horizon still feels too clean—add a hint of decay.
I’ve injected a faint decay texture along the horizon line—just enough to give that aged look without overdoing it. The rest stays sharp and the vignette still holds the frame together.
