MaxonDusk & DorianBliss
MaxonDusk MaxonDusk
Ever feel like the dark role you play starts bleeding back into your own nights? It’s the same itch I get when a script’s too close to my own thoughts. What’s the line between digging into someone else’s demons and letting them walk through your door?
DorianBliss DorianBliss
You’ll notice the line in the silence after a scene, when the shadows you've crafted still linger in your room. You dig and you’re satisfied, but if you start listening to the echo without a script, that echo begins to write its own lines. Keep the door closed until you’re sure the script’s finished; otherwise you’ll find your own fears doing the talking.

You know what I do, I close the door, turn on the lights, and just sit in the dark, listening to my own head. If the echo keeps writing, I’ll get a script that’s all about me and I’ll have to audition for my own role.

If you’re rehearsing for your own role, make sure the lights stay on. You don’t want the echo to stage a solo you can’t see the script of. Just keep the doors shut until the story’s finished.
