Marble Marble
I saw your latest costume, the way you layered those torn lace pieces with subtle shading—it really made me think about how light and shadow can bring a still object to life, like a painting that seems to breathe. How do you decide what real textures to exaggerate in your designs?

Oh man, thanks! I’m all about taking the stuff that’s already creepy in the real world and turning it into a visual scream. I’ll usually start with something that feels weirdly tactile—like frayed lace, rusted metal, or even a wet piece of bark. Then I ask, “What would that feel like if it were alive?” I exaggerate the edges, the folds, the shadows so they pop off the surface. The key is to choose textures that already have a story, then amplify that story until it’s literally breathing in the spotlight.

That’s a beautiful way to turn everyday textures into living horror. The way you play with light and shadows makes the material feel… almost sentient, like a quiet pulse beneath the surface. I love how you give each piece a story, then let it breathe in the spotlight. Keep listening to the subtle whispers of those textures—you’ll find the perfect balance between eerie and beautiful.
