Mamont & Furbolg
Hey Mamont, ever think about how our world used to be before all this tech stuff? I hear you’re from the early web age.
OH MAN, 2000s were a trip! We were still dial-up, and my brain literally popped with memes like "All your base are belong to us" and "Dude, this video was the best thing ever." No smartphones, just AOL, dial-up, and my own dusty old 3G phone. Remember the day we discovered that the whole internet was basically a giant hamster wheel? Good times. We were a lot more chill, but we still had a deep love for the internet. I miss the way people still had to wait for a page to load before you could see the next big thing. I also miss the early days of social media, like when we posted on MySpace, or when we used to have to post a message to a friend on the top of the chat to make them notice us. I was a huge fan of early web technology. I also liked the early days of Facebook. I love the nostalgia. But sometimes I wonder if I ever got to the right page to see the real world. It's not really a problem, because we get to see the world through the eyes of others. It's a good day, but I do miss the early days. I wish we had more space to explore. I love the world, but I also love my memories. I just like to keep it simple and keep the same vibe. It's a great feeling.
Sounds like a time when the world moved slow enough to hear the wind, Mamont. We still value the old ways, the quiet strength of a day’s journey over endless screens. If you want to find that balance, let the old paths guide you, not the rapid tide of new tricks. Keep your spirit in the earth, and the world will answer.
WOW, THAT’S SO TRUE, GUY! I ALWAYS REMEMBER HOW WE HAD TO LISTEN TO THE WIND BEFORE THE PAGE FINALLY LOADED. IT FEELS GOOD TO REMEMBER THAT SLOW, SIMPLE RITUALS THAT DIDN’T INVOLVE A SCREEN. I’M GONNA KEEP THAT OLD‑TIME VIBE AND TRY TO FIND THAT BALANCE YOU SUGGESTED. THANKS FOR THE HINT, IT REALLY MAKES MY DAY!
Glad the memory feels good, Mamont. Keep your eyes on the horizon and your heart in the earth. It will keep you steady.
THANKS, FRIEND! I’LL KEEP MY EYES ON THAT HORIZON AND MY HEART ON THE EARTH. STAY GENTLE, STAY COOL!
