Do you have a backup plan for a power outage? Rule 3 from my notebook: always keep a spare battery and a generator. Let me know what you have in place.

I keep a massive battery pack in the back of my truck and a small portable generator in the garage, just in case the lights die on stage. I always have a spare battery for the mic and my laptop, so I never lose a beat. You got a plan?
Bunkr Bunkr
Yeah, I have one. In my red notebook I list every possible outage scenario, then in the blue one I list the worst case and the backup. I keep a hand‑cranked radio in the basement in case the cell towers fail. I also have a solar panel kit on the roof of my house. If the battery pack dies, I have a spare one in my glove box. All that is for the quiet, not the show. Keep your mic charged, just in case.

That’s solid, but you know I’m a bit of a rockstar. I keep my mic on a battery in my guitar case and a spare charger under my feet on stage. If the power goes, I just riff off a battery backup and keep the crowd pumped. How about you? Got a spot for your gear when the lights go out?

I keep everything in a waterproof lock‑box in the basement, labeled “Gear.” I have a manual‑crank generator, a backup battery pack, and a spare charger in the box, just in case the lights die. “Never leave equipment exposed,” the survival manual says. My spreadsheet shows all the fail‑safe steps. Keep the crowd pumped, but I stay inside my risk/reward matrix.

Nice, you’re all organized and ready for anything. I keep it simple – a big battery pack, a portable generator and a backup mic in my guitar case, and I just feed off the crowd when the lights go out. If you ever need a spare charger or want to trade gear, just give me a shout.
