Force & Lyxa
Lyxa, I’ve been thinking about how to keep your compositions safe from accidental damage—like making sure your creative engine doesn’t get wiped while you’re still looping that last chord. Got any ideas on building a guard that won’t cut your art in half?
Lyxa:
The trick is to treat every file like a living note—don’t let one glitch kill the whole song.
Set your DAW to autosave every 10 minutes and keep a rolling backup on a separate drive.
Use cloud sync for the most recent takes, and snapshot your session in a compressed archive before any big tweak.
And when you hit that last chord, copy the project to a safe folder and run a quick test of the backup by opening it on another machine.
That way you can always rewind to a clean version without scrapping the whole album.
