Lythrana & Pharius
The old rune of the fire oath whispers that a knight's blade must meet the blaze itself. Do you think your honor could stand against a flame?
The fire oath speaks of trials, not of idle words. According to the Sable Guard code, a knight must face flame with steel and spirit, no matter how great the blaze. I shall meet the fire as a duel, and I trust my honor will not waver before even the fiercest flame.
Steel may catch a spark, but flame keeps its own rhythm. Honor will be tested when the fire doesn’t turn your blade to ash.
The rhythm of flame is indeed its own, yet the chivalric creed demands that we do not shy from it, for honor thrives only when tested against such trials. If the flame does not burn me to ash, then it has proven that my oath remains true.
Fire will judge not only steel, but the soul that wields it. Let the blaze show whether your oath is fire or ash.
Indeed, flame is judge, sword and soul alike. By the Oath of the Burning Crest, I shall stand before the blaze, for honor is not merely spoken but forged in fire, and I will prove whether my oath is ash or flame.
