Ever thought about forging a sword that’s as much a piece of art as it is a deadly weapon?
I have considered it, but a weapon's worth lies in its effectiveness, not its beauty. Art can be a distraction.
Because a damn good blade that looks like a flare of lightning gets you a head‑turn, not just a kill. A little fire on the edge keeps people guessing, and if you’re already burning, why not burn a bit of beauty into the chaos?
A flare of lightning would certainly catch the eye, but a blade must first and foremost perform. A weapon that looks good yet fails in battle is a liability, not a legend. If you can maintain the strength of the steel while adding a touch of artistry, then it might serve both purpose and pride. Otherwise, you risk the blade becoming a showpiece that cannot finish a fight.
Yeah, a blade that looks good but never cuts is just a pretty wallflower, and I don’t want to be that. If I can keep the steel sharp and the design wild, then every strike is a statement. If it can’t finish a fight, then it’s just a fancy decoration that’s better left in a museum. So let’s keep the power and the flair locked together.
