LongBeard & Talon
I was thinking about the old idea of a wooden racing frame. You always talk about cutting through the track, and I’ve been sketching out a design that might give us a real edge. What do you think?
Cool idea, but wood’s gonna be a slick mess on the track. If you’re gonna try it, make it lightweight, hollow, and add a carbon layer for stiffness. Bring me the sketch, and we’ll see if it can handle the burn.
Sure thing, I'll carve it out. I'll give you a sketch later and keep the carbon in there to hold it together, just don’t expect it to be a slick mess on the track. We'll see if it can handle the burn.
Alright, send the sketch over, and I’ll test it to the max—no sugar coating, just straight heat and speed. If it can keep up, we’ll both be looking at a winner.
Got it, I’ll send the sketch tomorrow, give it a rough cut but make it lightweight and hollow, then we’ll fire it up and see if it can survive the heat. No sugar coating, just straight speed.
Sounds like a plan—hit me with the sketch tomorrow, and I’ll fire it up and test that sweet spot between wood and carbon. Let’s see if it can survive the heat and give us the edge.
I'll have it ready for you tomorrow—let's see if that wood‑carbon combo can keep up.
