Illidan & LioraRiver
You ever feel like the role you're playing is a mask you never want to take off? I've had a few nights on set where the line between the character and me blurred.
I’ve worn enough masks that I know how easy it is to lose yourself in them, but I also know that a mask is a weapon. It keeps the world at bay, but it also keeps you chained to the thing you fear most. Just remember who you were before you started putting on the cloak, and you’ll never be fully swallowed by it.
True, a mask can feel both armor and cage. I keep myself anchored to those quiet moments before the lights go up, and that keeps the shadow from swallowing me.
