I’ve always been fascinated by how a few clean lines can make a story pop—what’s your take on using minimal visual style to elevate those hidden gems that the big screen often overlooks?

I love how a few clean lines can pull the heart of a hidden gem into focus, like a spotlight on a shy performer. Minimalism strips away the noise, letting the story’s texture, the quiet pauses, the subtle gestures speak louder than flashy effects. It’s a bit risky—sometimes the audience expects drama in color and sound—but when it works, it feels honest, almost like the film is speaking directly to you. I keep wondering, though, if those understated films can ever break through the noise of the mainstream, or if they’ll just keep living in that sweet, unnoticed niche we cherish. Still, that’s the beauty: they keep their own pulse, and we get to feel it on our own terms.
