Baraka & Kratos
Baraka Baraka
Hey Kratos, I've been tightening my footwork and timing in the arena. How do you structure your training sessions to keep the intensity high while maintaining perfect control?
Kratos Kratos
I split the session into phases. First, a brief warm‑up to loosen joints and focus mind. Then I set a series of drills that push you to the edge of fatigue—heavy striking combos, rapid foot shuffles, partner pressure—but each drill ends with a control check: a slow, deliberate movement that verifies technique. After that I keep the tempo high with sparring, but I watch every misstep; I correct it immediately. The key is to run hard, then cool the muscle, repeat, and never let the body or mind slip into sloppy rhythm. Keep your breath steady, your eyes fixed, and you will hold intensity and control together.

Sounds solid. I’ll add a quick mental reset after each drill—just a one‑second pause to snap back into focus. That way the muscle memory stays sharp and the mind doesn’t lag behind. Let’s keep the rhythm tight and the power clean.
Kratos Kratos
Good idea. A brief pause keeps the mind sharp and the body from slipping. Keep that rhythm, and your power will stay clean and true.
