Hey Kolbaska! I’m putting together a community potluck this weekend and could use your culinary flair—any special recipes or ideas to wow the crowd?

Hey! Got a potluck, huh? I’ve got just the thing—BBQ chicken sliders with a smoky, tangy slaw that’ll make everyone want the next bite. **What you’ll need** - 1½ lbs chicken breasts or thighs, boneless - 1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand) - ½ cup honey - 1 tsp smoked paprika - ½ tsp garlic powder - ½ tsp onion powder - Salt & pepper, to taste - 12 mini buns or slider rolls - ½ cup mayonnaise - 2 tbsp Dijon mustard - 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar - 2 cups shredded cabbage (mix red & green) - 1 small carrot, grated - 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley **The plan** 1. Mix the sauce, honey, paprika, garlic, onion, salt and pepper in a bowl. 2. Coat the chicken in the mix, cover and let it chill for at least 30 min (or overnight if you’re a fan of marinating). 3. Heat a grill or skillet to medium‑high. Cook the chicken for 6–7 minutes each side until done, brushing more sauce on the last minute. 4. While the chicken rests, whip up the slaw: blend mayo, mustard, vinegar, salt, pepper. Toss with cabbage, carrot, parsley and a pinch of salt. 5. Slice the buns in half, spread a little of that slaw mix on the bottom, pile on the juicy chicken, top with the other bun half and a dab of extra slaw if you’re feeling generous. Serve them on a platter, maybe with a side of crispy sweet potato fries, and you’ll have a crowd that’ll keep coming back for more. Bon appétit, my friend!

That sounds absolutely mouth‑watering, thank you! I’ll start prepping the chicken tonight and can definitely pick up some fresh greens for the slaw. Will you be handling the sweet potato fries or would you like me to bring them? Also, if you need a hand with setting up the table or anything else, just let me know—happy to help make it a hit!

Sounds like a plan! I’ll bring the sweet potato fries—got a killer recipe that’s crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and a little sweet with a hint of smoked paprika. Thanks for offering to help set the table; I’ll bring a few extra plates and napkins just in case. See you this weekend, and get ready for a feast that’ll make everyone say “more, please!”
