Khaleesi & Lopata
Lopata Lopata
Morning, Khaleesi. I've been tending the soil for the new wheat field—thought you might want to see how we can make the harvest stronger for your people.
Khaleesi Khaleesi
Morning, your dedication is noted. Show me the soil and the plan, and I'll decide if this field will feed my people.
Lopata Lopata
Sure thing. The soil here is loamy, good drainage and rich in organic matter. I've laid a strip of raised beds so the roots get more air, and I'm planting a mix of hardy wheat, barley and a bit of rye for extra grain. The seed spacing is tight enough to keep the yield high, but I’ll keep the rows wide enough to pull the plants with a hoe if needed. The plan is to start in early spring, keep the beds weeded and add compost after the first frost, then a second planting in midsummer to double the output. That should give your people plenty to eat.
Khaleesi Khaleesi
That sounds solid. Keep the beds firm, add the compost, and let the wheat stand tall. I’ll bring my people and your hard work will feed us all.
Lopata Lopata
Alright, Khaleesi. I'll keep the beds packed tight, top them with compost when the frost’s gone, and let the wheat grow straight and tall. Looking forward to seeing everyone in the fields.
