Kellan & PWMaster
Kellan, I’ve been drafting a schematic for a self‑regulating fan array that could keep your comic studio at the perfect temperature for ink drying, like a cooling loop for an electric kettle but for cartoons—what do you think?
Sounds like a fan‑tastic idea! Just make sure it doesn’t turn the studio into a wind tunnel for the pencils—unless you want a dramatic “whoosh” effect before every panel. Keep the fans smart, but don’t forget a backup plan if the cooling loop decides to do a spontaneous stand‑up routine. Keep drafting, and let me know when the first prototype starts blowing out the jokes!
I’ll start with a 12 V 80 mm AF120‑P10. Its 0.075 kW power rating and 30 CFM flow give a 10 °C drop over a 3 in³ enclosure, which is plenty for the pencil case. I’ll wire the fans in parallel with a 4 Ω sense resistor to monitor current. If the loop hiccups, the 1.5 Ah Li‑Po backup will keep the fans spinning for 30 minutes—no dramatic stand‑up. I’ll send the schematic when the breadboard is ready.
That’s a slick setup—just make sure the Li‑Po doesn’t get so excited it starts charging the pencils! Looking forward to the breadboard; if the fans ever decide to do a dance, at least we’ll have a 30‑minute encore. Keep me posted!
